We’re often asked – if I’m not swimming in my pool, even though it’s open year-round, why do I have to maintain it, other than an occasional cleaning?
The short answer: To protect your investment.
The ideal salt level is between 2700-3400 ppm (parts per million) with 3200 ppm being optimal. Before adding salt to your pool, test the water to check your salt level.
